Friends of the Earth (FoE)
The largest network of environmental groups in
the World (representatives in 68 countries). In
the UK, there are over 200 local groups. Its work
has extended to include social issues, encouraging
moves towards sustainable societies.

Action Without Borders
advertises itself as "helping to find practical
solutions to social and environmental problems,
and is independent of any government, political
ideology or religious creed". One of its
projects, called 'Idealist', provides information
and helps communication between members (includes
37,000 non-profit and community organisations
in 165 countries). Idealist allows organisations
- whether they have a Web-site or not - to enter
and update information about their services, volunteering,
publications etc.

The internationally recognised human rights campaigning

The Net's (biggest?) collection of links in the
