CAMPAIGNING
This
is an important part of any movement for change,
whether in the form of (for example):
-
mobilising direct action against militarisation
-
lobbying for human rights legislation and implementation
- informing
people of the plights of others and possible
alternatives to support
My
involvement: I have been actively
involved for many years in campaigning activities.
This includes work with: Amnesty, Friends of the
Earth (5 years local group co-ordinator), Anti-racist
groups, Greenpeace and others
